About CLM

Why work with CLM

Engaging a specialist like CLM early on greatly reduces the risk of specification or trade conflict and non-conformance. This generates long term savings and eliminates scope creep. CLM can support you in several areas:

We offer a comprehensive turnkey service consisting of three stages – Design, Build and Maintain – that we deliver nationwide to cover England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands.

We boast numerous industry accreditations and are independently-certified, operating a team of over 250 highly-experienced and on-demand passive fire protection specialists.

We tailor our services to meet a vast range of complex project needs, working with clients to develop their route to compliance and protect their brand.

Our Service Thread

Design

CLM’s Digital team offers Building Information Modelling (BIM), design and technical consultancy to support projects from the earliest design stages. Utilising a range of advanced modelling and compliance tools, we can identify non-compliances, clashes and spatial conflicts. This eliminates design risks before construction begins, with automated guidance for compliance and approved firestopping details applied directly to models. Clients will therefore benefit from greater cost certainty and improved coordination across disciplines for safer, more efficient design.

Install

CLM delivers fully-accredited passive fire protection installations across major projects nationwide, including structural steel protection, firestopping and penetration sealing, slab edge, cavity barriers and fire doors. We strive to uphold the highest standards of fire protection installation, with a focus on efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement. Every single project is handled by specialist installers and supported by OneTrace, our digital compliance technology platform. This provides real-time transparency on installations, in full adherence to the Golden Thread approach to building fire safety.

Maintain

We ensure long-term safety and compliance through the targeted inspection and remediation of passive fire protection systems. This can range from upgrading fire doors in line with rigorous regulatory standards, to rectifying compartment breaches in service penetrations around pipes, cables, ducts and door assemblies. To fulfil key compliance requirements, all of our maintenance services include detailed reporting and in-depth documentation as part of a fully-transparent audit trail.
