End-to-End Fire
Protection Services

safety by design.

CLM offer bespoke, full-lifecycle solutions to address all of our clients’ passive fire protection needs.

We prioritise early engagement in the project lifecycle, so that we fully understand all requirements from the outset, set the highest possible standards and ensure clients benefit fully from our expertise.

Our Approach

Engagement Strategy

We start with an independent review to identify which systems and products are required for compliant project delivery. This is accompanied by a series of rigorous HSE and quality assurance reviews, as well as a specific Continued Professional Development (CPD) review to pinpoint potential knowledge gaps and educate site teams on passive fire protection best practice.

Once this is complete, we will then offer expert advice on system installation and finally carry out a full handover. This includes the provision of Operations and Maintenance manuals and a clear digital audit trail for project delivery.

Fully Accredited and Certified

Our numerous accreditations, certifications and professional memberships reflect our commitment to industry best practice, compliance, and client satisfaction. Key examples include FIRAS, ASFP and BM TRADA, which are a testament to the efficacy, safety and reliability of our passive fire protection services.

Responsible Contractor

Responsibility underpins everything we do.

Not just in terms of our services but also our
contributions to the communities we are part of.

This includes keeping our own committed workforce safe from danger, supporting various local projects, and doing everything possible to minimise our environmental impact.

01

Workplace Health & Safety

CLM is an industry leader in health and safety for both our clients and our frontline workers.

We go to great lengths to ensure our operatives can carry out their duties in the safest environment possible, protecting them from physical risks while also placing a strong emphasis on mental wellbeing at work.

02

Social Value and Community Investment

We have accelerated our focus and investment in social value, having engaged a specialist Social Value Consultant and appointed internal champions who are responsible for tangible outcomes.

Additionally, we operate an employment and training scheme that is specifically aimed at people with perceived barriers to employment.

This scheme forms part of wider efforts to maximise the number of staff who are geographically local to relevant projects, which in turn can improve public spaces and reduce our carbon footprint.

03

Environmental and Sustainability Commitments

CLM are fully committed to complying with legislation and regulations to lessen environmental impact and ensure sustainability.

All team members complete an induction and six-monthly refresher training on our Environmental and Sustainability Policy, with project-specific training delivered to on-site teams prior to works commencing to support CLM’s trajectory towards Net Zero Carbon by 2050.

In terms of project delivery, any potential environmental risks are evaluated and monitored through an Aspects and Impacts Register reviewed every six months by senior business leaders.

We are also registered with the Environment Agency Regulation Authority as an upper-tier waste carrier and dealer.

As part of this, all waste is directed to recycling or recovery wherever possible, with only residual waste sent to landfill.

Testimonials

“It was a pleasure working with the team and we are extremely grateful for their support.”

The CLM Team volunteered at Henry Fawcett School after matching on the @Hyde Group portal #MatchMyProject. We relocated the school library, setup furniture, categorised and displayed all the children’s books and supplies. Access to the library for all 260 pupils was previously inaccessible and in an unheated space in the school. The children were unable to have regular and comfortable access to the books to support their love of reading and phonics development. We also provided soft furnishings and additional décor to make the space comfortable and exciting for the children to spend time and read in.

“Very prompt responses and really lovely members of CLM who attended site and installed the computer. Very professional company and the computer and printer was exactly what we asked for.”

CLM donated a brand new state of the art PC and Printer for Britannia Court aged care scheme in Chichester. Our IT Technician attended site, installed and gave basic use training to benefit the 65 residents who may not be able to afford to buy a PC themselves. Residents that have never used a PC could experience the benefits of the digital world and be able to use different digital platforms.

“CLMs performance throughout the project has been excellent”

At One Crown Place, CLM were involved from the beginning at design stage and helped develop a comprehensive project strategy for passive fire protection. Initially, this involved the application of intumescent paint to the nine-storey steel frame podium, including a high-quality decorative paint finish to residential areas. Subsequently, CLM have now installed all fire stopping works on the project, ranging from service penetration in walls and slab to cavity barriers around the perimeter of the floor plate.

CLMs performance throughout the project has been excellent, providing practical design expertise coupled with a proactive attitude on site to ensure works are completed to a high quality whilst never compromising on health and safety standards.

It is truly a pleasure to work with such a great contractor and I very much look forward to continuing the relationship and making a bigger, positive impact with CLM. I receive only positive feedback from all stakeholders and residents that are exposed to CLM Fireproofing and would refer them to any company looking for a reliable and professional contractor that never compromises on quality and compliance.
